The Makita 3/4 in. 2-Speed Hammer Drill has variable-speed operation to help with starting holes in concrete and steel. Start with low gear for speeds up to 900 RPM and 18;000 BPM. Then switch to high to take advantage of up to 2;300 RPM and 46;000 BPM. The 1/2 in. keyed chuck is powered by a 6 Amp motor and ball bearings translate to years of dependable use. This hammer drill also has adjustable side handles and a depth gauge for drop-in anchors. It comes with a storage case.
