Polyvance's Scimitar Welding tip is designed to weld plastic with flat strips; (ribbon welding rod) using an airless plastic welder. Instead of just smearing melted welding rod onto the surface; this plastic welding tip is designed to melt the base material and the bottom of the flat welding rod at the same time insuring a true fusion weld. Not only that; but it will also slightly v-groove the surface of the base material to increase the fusion area for an even stronger repair.
