Features and Benefits:

• This general purpose Permatex clear RTV silicone seals; bonds; repairs; mends; and secures glass; metal; plastics; fabric; vinyl; weather-stripping; and vinyl tops.
• It can protect and repair electrical wiring and may be applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces.
• It's designed for both interior and exterior use. It may be used to attach and seal Guy Line End Caps onto Phillystran.
• However; this sealant it is NOT recommended for use on electronic devices. This sealant contains acetic acid which accelerates curing time and gives it that unmistakable odor of vinegar; but it also adversely affects circuit board traces and soldered connections.
• For electronic devices that require sealing; use the DX Engineering Approved Sealant; Permatex 82180 Ultra Black RTV Silicone; which is available here; from DX Engineering.
