Required when tensioning and releasing the hydraulic V-ribbed belt tensioner; e.g. when removing and installing the clamping device or when replacing the V-ribbed belt. Tensioning without the appropriate tensioning tool can damage the expensive tensioning device; thereby creating a high risk of injury from parts flying around. Important note: The tensioning process must be carried out very slowly up to the stop (at least 20 seconds); otherwise the tensioning device may be damaged.
