Cross Peen Engineer Hammers are drop forged high carbon steel; heat treated; quenched and tempered heads. They are also known as blacksmith hand hammers. They are available in head weights of 2; 2-1/2 and 3 pounds; with burnt lacquer finish; Grade B (or better); ""Second Growth"" Hickory wooden handles. These are special purpose hammers with head designed for striking or shaping soft metal.
