Flare Nut wrenches are drop forged from steel bar. These wrenches are available in fractional sizes only from 3/8"" through 1-1/2"". They come in a Chrome or Industrial Black finish. Flare nut wrenches are similar to box end wrenches; except they do not completely encircle the nut. They are special purpose single end wrenches designed for use on flare nuts and fittings on tubing assemblies primarily for hydraulic; pneumatic and air conditioning equipment. The 12 point hex open box slips over the tubing. The thick head face helps to prevent the marring of fittings.
