• The chemical splash hood is well suited to provide protection to the head and face in environments of frequent chemical splash.
• Providing protection against many agents; the shell of the hood is manufactured of green nylon reinforced PVC material
• The full cut of the shell protects the head; face; and neck from accidental splashes.
• It is designed to go over the shoulders to shed the splash off the shoulders.
• The shell is constructed with seams double stitched with cotton thread. The non-synthetic thread is needed to resist the glue; which is used to seal the seams inside and out. The window of the hood is Oberon�s Chemical Resistant Shield. It�s large 7” X 13” window will retain its visibility and integrity; even when splashed with most acids (except hydrofluoric acid); bases and solvents.
