All 2011 MY 11.5"" rear axles will use a new syle of low-profile hub retaining nut. In order to service this nut; CH-49794 must be used. The six teeth on CH-49794 are designed to engage the axle hub nut; and allow it to be removed or installed easily. CH-49794 is designed to allow clearance for any amount of axle housing protrusion through the nut during service. CH-49794 is also used to install the retaining ring once the hub preload is set. The retaining ring is placed over the adjuster nut; and CH-49794 is tapped against the retainer to seat it into the groove on the adjuster nut.
