This Hornet 6” Oil Seal Puller Extractor Kit is more effective and efficient; saving technicians time and money. Other pullers use a tapered threaded front to penetrate and remove the seal. This is an old school approach to a common problem; factor in degradation of the tip; and the need to buy a replacement tool; leaves you with an expensive repair for an ineffective tool.Problem solved! Take a standard commercial construction drywall screw; and adapt it to a precision-made stainless-steel holder; and you have a new product with a replaceable tip that stays sharp every-time.We did not stop there. We added a convenient; high-impact slide hammer made from high-density hardened-steel. Small enough to fit anywhere; but powerful enough to get the job done fast. Oh� and to protect the tool and your investment; we coated it with black-oxide coat prevent rust; corrosion; and to add lubricity to the slide hammer action.
